There is no doubt we have all felt like this picture of Chris Farley before (for me it is every night before my 5 kids go to bed).  We live in the fastest paced time in history.  Our post-modern Western culture screams “productivity” and “results NOW” constantly.  And what is worse, we are even rewarded for it (which incentivizes us to keep doing the same thing).  So, like  hamsters stuck on our wheels of work and busyness we try to keep up with everyone else hoping someday we can slow down.  I know we are entering into the holiday season with lots of running around and preparation, so lets be very intentional to take breaks (even 5 minutes) a day and moments of rest.  It could save your sanity (and your kids lives).
