America’s Moral Compass
I am afraid that our country’s moral compass is a bit off. We can point the finger at all kinds of causes, but the fact is that America is having an ever increasingly hard time finding our true North. This unfortunately has quite the domino effect. In my mind, and in my life, I see that when a persons moral compass is broken, it begins to effect what they value. Their values then influence their behaviors, and their behavior then influence their decisions. Lastly their decisions determine their direction and their direction defines their futures. When this model is compounded on a national level, cultures and societies begin to fall apart at the seams. Just look at world history.

We all have a responsibility to first better ourselves by making right choices, then and only then can we impact those around us.
