Good: The Enemy of Great

I am an impatient person.  Like our American culture, I want everything now and oftentimes I will settle for something good instead of waiting for something better. Have you ever wished you could go back and make a different decision?  Of course, because we are human!  Hopefully I am learning that saying “no” to something good is sometimes the better choice. Just because something may look good right now does not mean it is necessarily the best option.  I am not encouraging people to procrastinate, but I am suggesting that we need to be more patient and exercise wisdom- especially when making bigger decisions. Don’t settle for good when great is around the corner.
