Welcome to my Blog!  

I want to introduce myself.  My name is Phillip (or Phil) Koontz and my titles are many…. I am a husband, father, son, brother, former Navy SEAL, man of faith, former pastor, and graduate student.  

Along with leading a family and going to Denver Seminary full time (soon completing my MA in Leadership), I also do a bit of Leadership and Motivational speaking.  

This week I was in Chicago speaking to a group of financial planners from Lincoln Financial Group about being prepared for the uncertainties that lie ahead (specifically in the financial market).  

I incorporated business leadership principles and personal stories from my time in the Teams to practically encourage and challenge them moving forward.
