For centuries, theologians, psychologists, philosophers, and many great minds have pondered the mind-body connection of “invisible power” that some people seem to possess that pushes them to the next level.
People often ask me if I can tell when someone has what it takes to become a SEAL or not. In my book, The Truth Behind My Trident, I talk about certain attributes that all SEALs seem to have, but by in large no one really seems to know.
As a matter of fact, the government has poured millions of dollars into research to find the answer to the questions of what common traits candidates who become SEALs have and how we specifically recruit them.
Ultimately, no one really knows.
One thing is for sure though… the power of relationships (the connection between people) seems to empower and motivate us beyond what most think is possible.
Researchers are now able to see a direct connection between relationships and this “invisible power” some seem to have.
In the next few blogs, we will unpack this invisible power and see what it is really all about. Without a doubt, I would not have been able to make it through SEAL training if it wasn’t for some of my fellow classmates.
